Freelance Senior Product Manager (German-speaking, Remote-first)

12-week engagement starting ASAP
We’re looking for a freelance Senior Product Manager to join an ongoing, fast-moving B2B SaaS build — focused on enabling professionals to improve their digital presence through intelligent insights and content recommendations. The project is in the MVP implementation phase, with a strong foundation already laid during discovery and design.
You’ll join a dedicated cross-functional delivery team and take end-to-end ownership of product execution, stakeholder management, and team coordination. Most of the backlog is already shaped — now it’s about steering the team through the next 12 weeks to deliver a market-ready product.

What You’ll Do

  • Own delivery from week 1 – drive structure, rituals, and priorities across design, engineering, and data.
  • Align stakeholders – be the main point of contact for the client, ensuring transparency and trust through clear communication and expectation management.
  • Ensure executional clarity – break down scope into manageable chunks and remove blockers before they escalate.
  • Facilitate collaboration – work closely with the engineering and design leads to align on implementation, edge cases, and trade-offs.
  • Balance pragmatism and product quality – help the team find realistic paths to deliver a user-ready product that’s stable, intuitive, and extensible.

Setup & Collaboration

  • Duration: ~12 weeks, starting as soon as possible
  • Language: Fluent German required (client-facing role)
  • Location: Remote-first with occasional on-site alignment in Berlin (approx. 2–3 in-person sessions total)
  • Team: Experienced designer, AI/backend engineer, frontend engineer, and engagement lead already staffed

What You Bring

  • Strong background in digital product delivery, ideally in startup or agency environments
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of delivery structure, clarity, and communication
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – clear, honest, and pragmatic
  • Fluency in German and proficiency in English
  • Familiarity with AI- or data-enabled product development is a plus
  • Experience with mobile app delivery (iOS-focused) a bonus
